Marisa Moreira is a portuguese violist who started her musical studies at the age of 10, on the Conservatorium of Music of Ourém and Fátima, where she studied with Pedro Trigo. In 2019 she completed her bachelor degree at ESMAE, Oporto, where she studied with Jorge Alves. 

She has already collaborated with orchestras like “Orquestra do Centro”, “Orquestra do Património”, and “Orquestra de Jovens da Feira”, and in 2017 she was admitted in the Bomtempo Orchestra, a recent portuguese project that has Cesário Costa as the conductor. During her bachelor, she attended chamber music masterclasses with Jon Thorne, Diego Zecharies and Juan Carlos Garvayo, and viola masterclasses with Máté Stücz, Marc Tooten, Dorothea Vogel, Jon Thorne, Pedro Munoz, António Pereira, Ryszard Wóiycicki and Marian Movileanu. In 2019, she participated in the Gulbenkian orchestral internship, with the conductor Joana Carneiro. 

Currently she is doing her master degree at Codarts, Rotterdam, where she is studying with Karin Dolman.
